Side Track from the usual.

Ahhh finally I can write this post.

I've been getting super home sick this Christmas season when I should be hanging out with my family , but because Gregg had to work we opted to hang out with his family this year. So many lovely traditions my family started , and the idea of having to make our own for our new family makes me miss mine so much. Seems almost wrong to celebrate Christmas without my sisters and parents.

On the drive down to Delta so many things crossed my mind. 1) how much I missed my family 2) how much I loved living in Georgia. I had so many options to do so many things. Especially religious ( I'm not quite sure how this crossed my mind) but I was able to go to different churches (baptist , catholic , Jehovah witness  ) . I can't remember if my parents encouraged us to go when invited or not , but I'm really glad I got the opportunity because it led me to know that there was something missing that only my church had. 3) I thought about how I probably don't thank the Lord as often as I should. I have so many things I'm grateful for , but somehow I always seem to forget to thank the one who gives me all the things i'm grateful for.

I have a husband I love more than life itself. I have an apartment that while it's small and there's no dishwasher and the tub is clogged at least it keeps us warm and safe and we can shower still. We have food to eat and clothes to wear. I have an amazing family on both ends. I got really lucky overall. I should take more time to remember where all these blessings come from.

Dear Scentsy , Thanks for smelling so awesome. Sincerely you were a wonderful scent to come home to.

Thursday

Awkward :  The turkey at the new bbq place that looked and tasted like ham. and it still tasted gross.
                   " their kids will be little Nerdlings."
                   That wedding reception. Even more awkward than I had originally planned on.
Awesome : Family time. Nuff said
                  Shae Audrey coming over to play with me
                  Playing Mario Kart with husband all last week. He's the coolest.
FRIDAY
One of these days i'll actually take a picture of my awesome outfits.
