So this first picture is from back in June when my family came out to visit me since I can't make it to Brett's wedding. Anyways. My parents were kind enough to buy us a new couch and since we have a furniture store right across the street , We decided it would be easier to just have the men and young ladies walk it across the street. I promise there is nothing funnier than watching that go down. I only wish I had a picture of the guys having fun tearing the old one apart. I don't think Gregg's ever had more fun in his life. My next post should have a picture of the couch minus the white fabric stuff.
This picture is from our 4th of July celebration. We walked about 4 blocks to the freedom days festival that takes place every year on the 4th of July on center street.( Which is actually really inconvenient because we use that road pretty much every day.) My face is swollen and I'm hot and tired and we're both feeling a little off because of the funnel cake , but it was still a lot of fun. I found lots of things I wanted to buy , but held off because we have very expensive bills coming up.(P.S. doesn't the husband look ultra cute in this picture? I think so!!)
Finally , Our brand new board game. This is actually kind of a funny story. There is this documentary on Netflix called Monopoly: behind the boardwalk. ( I'd highly recommend it, but it has really bad side effects.) I watched it a grand total of 4 times. In a row. So after Gregg watched it all the way through , we finally decided we HAD TO HAVE this game. So we went out and bought it. ($9- thank you coupons) So I grabbed a quick picture before the game started. I would just like everyone to know that thanks to that documentary I was thisclose to beating Gregg for the first time in my life. Gregg even admitted that my downfall was because I didn't buy houses early enough in the game. ( Seriously folks , when I got boardwalk and park place within my first 4 rolls , why didn't I start building ?!) Anyways, Yeah , I'm kind of addicted to this game now.
Hopefully within the next few days I can grab pictures of the rest of our stuff to show off. I've got lots of stuff that's very cool to Gregg and I and kind of eh to everyone else. Well baby Zoe is kicking me very hurtfully so I'm going to go off and pay attention to her. She already knows how to get what she wants and has a personality. Gregg has even noticed this. So we know it's true.
