My how time flies

So as of today baby girl is one week and one day (almost) old. I feel like she's much older than that though. She's so smart and acts so much older than her age. She's smiled from only a few hours old and it's the prettiest smile you could ever imagine looking at. She isn't shy about smiling either. She has a smile for everyone.

She's also been very into holding her own things. She hasn't quite grasped ( no pun intended) the concept yet , but she tries her very hardest to hold onto her binky and her bottles the few times she gets them. ( the bottles) Some times she actually succeeds in getting a good grip on her binky and will hold it in her mouth or throw it across the room.

She's also started to babble. It's not complete baby babble yet , but you can definitely tell she's talking to you. She only does this on rare occasions , but it's such a treat when she does. She's beginning to fill out and look more like the newborn you'd expect to see rather than one that is so little and light.

So you can imagine my joy when my friend Paige came over and took her newborn pictures. She's growing up so fast that I just want to freeze time and keep her this small forever.
