My day

Let me tell you exactly how today went.

I woke up at 9:15am to my sexy husband sneaking Orange Roses ( my fav) and chocolate beside my face. He then told me he also got me Diet Dr.Pepper. You can bet that boy got lots and lots of kisses. Then he made me breakfast.

The very second he finished cooking breakfast , the power went out. It was out for 8 hours. Insanity , as a matter of fact it made me go insane . So I ran some errands. When I thought the power would be back on ( 3:00pm) I came home. It still wasn't on , I hadn't eaten, and I was bored. Really bored. Gregg was sleeping so soundly that I couldn't wake him up.

You can imagine that made me cranky. So Gregg woke up cranky and I was a cranky pants. So we argued a bit. At which point we decided there was no point to argue so we went and got dinner because at 5pm the power was still out. While out we tried to think of presents , except for we're so A.D.D that we ended up just looking around.

I got kinda sad when we didn't get anything crafty at Hobby Lobby , and then Gregg took forever in Barnes & Noble. He made up for it when he bought us our very first Christmas tree as a little family of 2. It's a 6.5 foot , pre-lit , "Colorado fir" . The perfect little fake tree. We also got a 45 count of ornaments to hang on it. It's supposed to be a gold tree , but there are some red ornaments in the bucket so we're just gonna go with it.

Overall it's been a fantastic day and I can't wait to post pictures of our adorable decorated tree. After we put it up when we get back from Thanksgiving that is.
