Pass on some useful advice
or information you learned and always remembered.
I would say the best advice I ever got was sleep when your baby is sleeping. To this day I STILL take naps when she does. One of my young women's advisers when I was a laurel also told me to eat something Green every day. I don't do that one as often though. If I was to pass on useful advice though , it would be to not sweat the small stuff. Things are going to happen that are totally out of your control. So just. Don't sweat it. It will only stress you out. Plus if it has to do with your baby , time is fleeting. They're only babies for so long. Enjoy it. Stressing out about the small stuff is only going to make both of your lives miserable.
So that's my advice. Now on to more enjoyable things. Like Zoe.
My cutie baby turned ONE yesterday. I could have sworn I JUST had her. Something big happened on her birthday though. Okay , not huge big , but I feel like it's a big deal. Zoe learned how to drink out of a straw. On her birthday. Which was only a huge thing for me I'm sure because just the day before her nutritionist was telling me how she needed to be ONLY drinking out of straw sippy cups by the time she's 15 months. I thought it would take forever , but nope. I gave her a straw sippy of milk yesterday and she just figured it out. WOO HOO. Looks like taking the binkys away at nap time is going to be our trial. That and potty training. Which I'm not even going to start doing until she can tell me she has to go. or that she's gone in her diaper.
Other than that she's walking pretty consistently now and has even started practicing her running. She face plants when she tries to run though. She also fell off our bed for the first time today.
