Obligatory Royal Baby post.

Okay so my iPad wont let me upload the picture ( or I haven't figured it out yet ) but just search "Royal Baby" on google and look at all the images of Kate Middleton holding the new prince. Okay now I'm going to put this out there first. I'm beyond happy and thrilled for the couple and their new baby. I don't want anyone thinking I hate the royal family. I don't. I love them in fact. I'm just here to post the other side of everyone's creepy stalker like posts.

A) in the pictures of course Kate looks gorgeous. However if you look past the fact that she's obviously had her hair and make up done. ( or did them herself ) you can tell she's tired. Am I seriously the only one who can see the bags under her eyes? I'm just saying yes she looks great, but she also looks like every other new mom fresh out of the hospital, ecstatic and exhausted.

B) if I were her , which I'm not, but lets just say she thinks at least a little like me. She's probably thinking, " I love being the princess, and I realize that it's my 'duty' to do all this press stuff, but honestly I just want everyone to leave me the heck alone so I can take a nap and just spend some time enjoying my new baby. "  also if it were me, which it's not. I'd be like " we don't have any control over America , why are they sticking their nose into our business? Didn't they make up their mind when they decided to be their own country? " I'm just saying, as Americans we're pretty nosey. The husband agrees with me on this point. Direct quote. "I don't get why everyone cares what's going on in a different country."

C) I realize that as the princess she does probably have tons of people to help her out with the baby, and that she probably won't look as exhausted as half of us "normal" mothers look all the time . She can probably grab a nap whenever it suits her. I just thought I'd like to remind everybody that she's still human and probably feels the same way most new mothers do . I think sometimes we like to forget that. So although Kate will probably never read this, I say congrats on the new baby and I want to let you know you won't get any judgement from me. Being a new mom is rewarding and hard all at the same time. No matter who you are.

  1. I love the Royal Family but really just because I love Kate. She is beautiful, classy, and most importantly modest.

I think compared to the way Kim Kardashian handled her birth and all that jazz, Kate has done a fabulous job making it as normal as she can (given her situation.

I also noticed that Kate looked like any brand new mother. I agree with you that her hair and makeup was probably fixed with her team and it's insane how many people she has to help her. But I love that she looked like her body had gone through an incredible experience in the past day. I also love that none of the pictures were photoshopped to make her look like she went back to her pre baby weight right after she popped out the prince, she was very real. Unlike Kim K. who instantly talks about getting work done because she misses her pre baby figure.

    Long, but just my thoughts.
