Sing with me...Sunday

It's been a while since I've done one of these posts. I've recently been listening to music a LOT lately, So I needed to share some of the songs I've been listening to.

This first one needs a little back story. Gregg and I hardly ever like the same music. Poor guy. So When he heard me walking around singing this song, you should've seen his face. He was SO excited that I finally liked "a good song" .  So the story of how I discovered this song is kind of a weird way as well. I've recently been playing Sims Online. (freeSO if you're curious). It allows you to play with other simmers around the world and chat with them too. Through this game I made a friend with a DJ in Norway (What?!) Anyways. Everyday in our chat room he shares a link to a radio stream he does. I first heard this song there. Now he puts it on a few times a day just so I can listen to it haha. So. My husband has him to thank for my love of this song. The guy who sings it though? His voice is gorgeous. This is Disturbed "The sound of Silence."

Ok. This next song I also found via my friend in Norway. The guy who sings it is also from Norway. He sings one of my most favorite songs though. he's singing "The Story" by Brandie Carlile. The first bit is him talking but then he sings and oh. my. word. You should hear his cover of Pink's Try too. Swoon worthy. 

Ok guys. I love me some Bruno Mars. Like it's unreal. So this next song is probably one of my favorites. "Somewhere in Brooklyn" By Bruno Mars. 

And because it wouldn't be a Sing with me post if I didn't post a children's song. My friend Megan shared this with me a while back and I listen to it at least once a day. I give you Lullaby for a Princess.

Okay , so this is just the lyric video . I happen to HATE lyric videos , but I  put two on here today because i'm just loving the songs so much Story. My sister had the biggest crush on Nick Jonas growing up. ( I'll give you 1 guess as to which sister. ) I never understood it because that was back in the day when Nick was like the cute little brother and Joe was bae. ( I word I hate , but totally is what fits here. ) Well I get it now. Nick grew up perfectly. So finneeeee. So , Nick Jonas with Chains.

What I'm listening to.

It's been forever and a day since I blogged , and even longer since I made a Sing with me Saturday post. Usually because hello , I forget what day it is until I wake up on Sunday and think " Oh crap ! I forgot again!" So before today is over I'm gonna give ya'll a quick list of Songs I'm looooving...

I need to update you guys on life too , so I guess i'll post that tomorrow or sometime in the future. lol. 

First up Is Hailee & Joe Jonas singing Rock Bottom. Oh my word guys. I love me some Jonas Brothers lately. But this song is literally everything to me right now. It is basically on repeat in my head. 

- I'm going to do a quick interjection here because I really want to add the video , but I can't find the one I want. Nick Jonas & Tove Lo singing Close. Seriously look it up on youtube because it's the next best thing after the above video. 

Okay I hate admitting to the next two because if you ask me I will adamantly insist that I dislike Justin Bieber with a burning passion. With that being said I find myself loving his music lately. It kills me to say it , but there it is. So this one is Love Yourself. 

Then Of course there is his best one yet "Sorry." I know, I know. I'm cringing.

There are many things I could say about this song , but in the end the only point that matters is this song gets itself stuck in my head. I can think of worse things to happen to me.

So , I planned on doing this TWO weeks ago, but Gregg has been super busy with homework , so I wasn't able to steal the computer from him. Until today. When I made time to. Anyways. Here's what's been playing in my phone and head for the last few days. Except for one song that I heard on Pandora , but don't remember the name of it or who sings it. Oh well. Maybe I'll hear it again this week and be able to post it on Saturday.


First up is Jimmy Fallon and Will-I-Am starring in "EW!!" This song is straight up hilarious ,and this is now how Gregg and I say Ew. Don't judge us. It's hilarious. So if you randomly hear us saying Ew , you now are in on our inside joke. Laugh with us.

Next is Home. By the people who sing it. This is the song Gregg put with one of his videos for a class he had to take , and honestly it's been playing through my mind. It's become our "Family song", and will always hold a special place in my heart.

This one I sing non stop and I'm sure Gregg is getting sick of it , but Ed Sheeran in "Thinking out loud". This one speaks for itself. 

I was actually listening to the Glee version of this song , and decided to check out the original. Despite the weird video that goes with it , I'm still madly in love with it.

Rounding out this weeks Videos , is I really like you by Carly Rae Jepson. I'm going to freely admit that the ONLY reason I like this song is because Tom Hanks is in it. Which makes it hilarious in it's own rights.
